July 2020: The Wine Advocate awards 90 “Parker points” to our Chenin blanc, Dédicace 2018

The Wine Advocate, one of the wine world’s  leading  magazines, published in the USA, came out with its Languedoc-Roussillon tasting notes this month.  The region “is becoming a hotbed for quality wines,” their regional expert, Joe Czerwinsky, said.

Of our Limoux 100% chenin blanc, Dédicace 2018, he wrote:

Slightly honeyed on the nose, barrel-fermented, boasts scents of pear, melon and citrus.  It’s fairly full-bodied and ripe, with mouth-filling lushness of texture, and a long finish redolent of ground spices, like cinnamon, allspice and clove.  It’s drinking beautifully now, but I wouldn’t rule out a few more years of ageability, perhaps even more.

He awarded 90 points to this vintage of Dédicace.

The same wine was awarded two stars by the most famous French Wine Guide, the Guide Hachette des Vins, in the latest 2021 edition which will be published in October 2020.
