The venerable Guide Hachette published its 2022 edition in early September, selecting 8000 of the 35000 wines tasted from every appellation throughout the country.
“This vineyard is no stranger to accolades”, the Guide said of Château Rives-Blanques.
It maintains “a lovely complicity with Chenin blanc” they added, awarding our Dédicace 2019 two stars. “‘Mineral’ is not an empty word in this case, and underlines that this great wine of the south has a very northern spirit”.
It came very close to being their coup de coeur, the Guide added.
Odyssée 2019, our flagship Chardonnay, was given one star. “Nothing was spared to get the best out of this handsome Chardonnay, with its cristalline robe and notes of toast, hazelnut and citrus” they said.
Our un-oaked Chardonnay, the Pays d’Oc Chardonnay du Domaine 2020 was also the happy recipient of a star in this new edition, being succinctly described exactly as ir is: a soft attack – mentholated, straight and fresh.
