Vintage 2018 gave us  enough grapes to make only two of our five Appellation Limoux white wines: Dédicace and Odyssée 2018.  Knowing that our wines always like a year in the bottle, we decided to send one to her and keep one back a year, randomly deciding which one to submit and which one to keep back.  Judging from her tasting notes on Dédicace 2018, it seems the right wine reached her glass.

“Pure high-extract chenin, more Loire than Cape” she said, with a “real richness and tension”.

The other new releases she tasted were our Crémant de Limoux, Vintage Rose 2016, described as “very pretty and rewarding”, and our super-crisp, clean, refreshing, zippy Blanquette de Limoux 2017
