France’s leading wine guide, the Guide Hachette, says that Limoux’s “dynamic team finds its efforts well rewarded”.   The latest 2012 edition of this authoritative publication again awards a star to the Rives-Blanques chardonnay, Odyssée.

The publication of this guide marks the tenth consecutive vintage from Rives-Blanques to be included.

“Harmonious … delicate aromas of fresh fruit in the nose; persistent in the mouth with  generous aromas of dried fruits” they said about the vineyard’s top barrel-fermented chardonnay.

Also included in the guide were the domaine’s two Country wines: the chardonnay-chenin Pays d’Oc (“a complex nose of fresh fruits and flowers.  Pear and citrus in the mouth, dominated by notes of peach and exotique fruits”) and our barrel-vinified Sauvignon blanc (“ample and round”).
