The eminent Jancis Robinson participated in a tasting of top wines from Vouvray, the heartland of chenin blanc, and published her findings in her Purple Pages.   We are honoured that our botrytised chenin blanc, “which showed extemely well despite its youth”, was included in such august company  alongside those  legendary names. “Varietal,” she wrote of our sweet chenin blanc, ” with very clean honeyed flavours”.  Coming so soon after her complimentary comments on our still Limoux chenin, Dédicace, this seems to confirm that the Rives-Blanques terroir is indeed ideally suited to this grape variety.
