June 2011: Rosemary George MW visits Limoux, the ‘coolest part of the Languedoc’, and writes interesting tasting notes on Rives-Blanques wines …

Rosemary George, a historian turned wine writer and Master of Wine, has a host of books to her name,  handbooks for professionals and interesting reading for winebuffs.  On June 14 she posted her tasting notes after a visit to Rives-Blanques, describing our late harvest as ‘absolutely delicious’ and our pink cremant as ‘ethereal as mountain air’.   http://www.tastelanguedoc.blogspot.com/

Following hot on her heels, another blog posting with tasting notes on the 2010 Rives-Blanques wines from Leon Stolarski, the highly respected small English importer with a big palate: http://leonstolarski.blogspot.com/2011/06/visit-to-chateau-rives-blanques.html
