December 2005: !SICA gives the Chateau Rives-Blanques Blanquette de Limoux a 'coup de coeur' in its Christmas edition
Under the heading, Chateau Rives-Blanques, Tradition under the Pyrenees, this monthly food magazine selected our Blanquette de Limoux as one of the best ... Three Europeans - the former proprietor who is from the region, and the present owners who are Engish - work together to give voice to their magnificent 'terroir', making a Blanquette with great respect for tradition. This millesime 2001 has plenty of character: a complex nose with floral notes; masculine on the palate; and predominating notes of yellow grapefruit in the finish. (The proprietors, who very much appreciated these kind words, feel moved to mention that they are not English). Last Updated: 2005/11/29
