October 2005 1000 Vins du Monde 2006 published by the Oenologues de France was came out this month with its selection of the best 1000 wines in the world.
They included the Chateau Rives-Blanques chardonnay, Cuvée de l'Odyssée and also its chenin blanc, Dédicace, both of which it awarded with a silver medal."At a time when globalisation and standardisation of wine cloud the issue, we hope to defend the winemakers of the world by giving arguments to defend the particular typicity of wines from every region of the planet" they explained.
