November 2004Oz Clarke, the 'world's most entertaining wine writer' had some serious things to say about Cuvée de l'Odyssée in his new Wine Buying Guide.
The celebrated celebrity wine writer and television personality, Oz Clarke, included our Cuvée de l'Odyssée 2002 in the top 50 'outstanding wines' available in the UK. The list was published in his latest Wine Buying Guide."Limoux is best known for very good sparkling wine" he said, "but it is now promising to be an excellent region for table wines, in particular Chardonnay."
He had this to say about our Cuvée de l'Odyssée: "The style is very soft-edged, smooth, round, almost new world in its banana, cream and juicy pear mellowness, but recognizably French in its evident acidity and restrained spicy oak".
