Wine International, February 2004: Dedicace (AC Limoux) is the only French non-Loire chenin banc to make the cut in this respected publication’s global tasting.
The respected British Wine International magazine carried a global tasting of chenin blanc in its February 2004 issue. The highest-rated wines were overwhelmingly from the Loire, with South Africa trailing far behind in second place. Less than a handful of New Zealand and Australian wines featured, and the only French non-Loire wine to make the cut was Chateau Rives-Blanques Dédicace 2002. Tasting notes read: 'Quite confected fruit salad aromas and flavours with some oak. This is quite a modern style of wine'.
