La Revue du Vin de France, August 2003 : The respected French monthly wine magazine includes Cuvee Occitania (mauzac) in its annual roundup of the best wines of the 2002 millesime.
France’s leading wine publication, La Revue du Vin de France included our AC Limoux Cuvée Occitania in its roundup of the Best of the 2002 Wines of France published in June 2003. After blind-tasting some 25,000 wines nationwide, a ruthless if not “pitiless” selection resulted in a shortlist of the best wines of the year. While they said that generally the appellation’s mauzac had produced big grapes with diluted juice, they singled out our Cuvée Occitania as the “expression d’un pur mauzac limouxin et saveurs originales de pommes compotées.”
