“These wines are balanced, expressive and approachable – a sure value”, says the 2018 edition the Revue du Vin de France’s wine guide. “The 2015’s show more depth than their predecessors” they add, with the single varietals being showcased. Of the sparkling wines, the Blanquette de Limoux particularly attracted their attention.
France’s famous wine-writing duo Bettane and Desseauve include the wines from Rives-Blanques in the 2018 edition of their authoritative guide to French wines, saying that the vineyard produces “most agreeable and well made sparkling wines, as well as still white wines that shine with elegance, such as their chardonnay, Odyssée”
